The participants enter the venue and see numbered tables, closed boxes and a large selection of materials. It is not yet clear how this is all to be turned into a functioning wind farm \u2013 and that is precisely what creates the excitement.
\nAfter a brief, energising introduction, the task becomes clear:
\nEach team builds its own wind turbine. But the real goal is bigger \u2013 it\u2019s about the combined energy yield of the entire wind park.
\nCuriosity turns into focus. Individuals become a project team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t

Construction phase \u2013 When roles are defined and momentum builds <\/h3>

At first, the task seems complex. But after a few minutes, things start to take shape. Teams plan, build, discuss and test.
\nSome take charge of the construction, whilst others handle strategy, the budget or communication. Strengths, roles and initial coordination structures emerge quite naturally.
\nThe collaboration doesn\u2019t stop at their own table \u2013 because a wind farm only works if the teams coordinate with one another.

Before the wind park goes into operation, every wind turbine is inspected. Stability and safety are crucial, as real forces come into play once the turbines are up and running.

\nHow do we position our wind turbines so that they do not block each other\u2019s wind?

\nThere\u2019s a buzz in the air. Everyone\u2019s eyes are fixed on the display. With every higher reading, their pride grows.
\nIn the end, there\u2019s a shared figure. And this figure is more than just a number: it\u2019s made tangible \u2013 for example, by comparing what could be powered by this energy.
\nThe homemade wind turbine stands almost two metres tall in front of the team. Visible. Measurable. Achieved.
