Strategic team development with a lasting impact

In this extraordinary simulation, it quickly becomes clear that only with trust, clear communication and intelligent use of resources can the team reach the summit and return successfully.

The journey simulates real challenges in everyday business life: limited resources, changing conditions and the need to make courageous decisions together.

Step by step to success: the event schedule for Adventure Everest

At base camp: Arrival & introduction

Everyone arrives at base camp, where they receive a brief overview of the expedition. A concise introduction gets the team up to speed, sets the scene and clarifies the common starting point – ready to set off for the summit.

Route planning: Strategy & roles

Before heading uphill, a clear plan is drawn up: goals, procedures and responsibilities are agreed upon. The team assigns roles, clarifies arrangements and determines how decisions will be made – so that the ascent is coordinated and focused.

Ascent & summit moment: the Everest simulation

Now the actual mountain climb begins: in the simulation, the team goes through stages, makes decisions under time pressure and reacts to changing conditions. Cooperation, communication and priorities become immediately apparent – and at the end, it becomes clear what has been achieved: results are collated and briefly classified, and the moment is consciously marked.

Return to the valley: reflection & transfer

Finally, the focus shifts from experience to insight: not every team makes it to the summit or back down safely – and this can trigger emotions and lead to a rethinking of working methods. Building on this, the team reflects on key situations and derives specific transfer points that can be carried over into everyday life.

As flexible as an expedition: on-site, virtual or hybrid

Whether as a physical team experience, completely virtual or in a hybrid setup, Adventure Everest works in any format and has a lasting impact. This makes the programme suitable for teams of all types and configurations – across locations, remote, international or in mixed groups – and brings everyone onto a common “route”, regardless of where they are currently working.

Recommendation: Event trip with a lasting impact

For sustainable team development, Adventure Everest can be effectively designed as a multi-stage journey with intervals between stages:

  1. Adventure Everest
Shared experiences reveal collaboration, communication and patterns within the team.
  2. Individual workshop
Once the impressions have had time to sink in and settle, the lessons learned are refined and translated into actionable steps.
  3. Application with Before Mars
Measurable results and data analyses are used to check whether changes have been implemented and are being applied in everyday life.

The added value of the Adventure Everest at a glance:

Mirror for team behaviour: Makes visible how the team really works together, instead of just talking about it.

Live analysis of the current situation: Clearly shows where you currently stand (e.g. in terms of communication, trust and cooperation).

More trust & psychological safety: Promotes openness, mutual support and the courage to address issues.

Clarity about roles & responsibility: Sharpens role awareness and reduces friction caused by unclear responsibilities.

Better communication & decisions: Trains coordination, prioritisation and decision-making processes under realistic conditions.

Set clear priorities: Teams learn to distinguish between what is important and what is not – even under time pressure.

Strategic thinking & team leadership: Strengthens planning, resource management and forward thinking as a team.

Confident handling of pressure, mistakes & risks: Helps you stay focused on learning in stressful situations and consciously manage risks.

Customer reviews

We were surprised at how intense and real the simulation game felt. Our team had to rely on each other in the truest sense of the word, and that really brought us closer together.
