This is the Tuckman Model.
1️⃣ Forming (orientation phase) – The team comes together, members get to know each other, roles are still unclear.
2️⃣ Storming (conflict phase) – Initial differences of opinion arise, positions are negotiated.
3️⃣ Norming (organisation phase) – Rules, structures and shared values emerge, the team grows together.
4️⃣ Performing (performance phase) – Effective collaboration, the team works in a focused and productive manner.
5️⃣ Adjourning (dissolution phase) – If the team project ends, reflection and dissolution of the team takes place.
A consciously managed process by managers or team trainers can optimally support the teams in the individual phases.
There are many different methods for working with teams. Generally speaking, these can be divided into the following categories: agile methods, classic methods, collaborative methods and problem-solving methods.
The best way to find out which methods are most suitable for your team is to arrange a no-obligation consultation.
Our trainers are qualified and certified team trainers and coaches. They can accompany the team for half a day or a whole day, as required. The exact scope depends on the objectives and your individual requirements. Our trainers work with activities that are specifically tailored to optimising teams.
When formulating goals for team development, the SMART method helps to set clear and achievable goals. SMART stands for:
✅ Specific – The goal should be formulated precisely and concretely.
✅ Measurable – Success must be verifiable based on criteria.
✅ Attractive – The goal should be motivating and offer added value for the team.
✅ Realistic – It must be achievable, taking into account the resources available.
✅ Time-bound – A clear deadline or time frame should be defined.
We would be happy to help you formulate goals for your team development.
