Practical example of team building
Initial situation:
Korean Re Switzerland AG planned a team building event with the aim of strengthening team cohesion, promoting communication and giving employees a motivating break from their daily work routine. They wanted a format with a high fun factor and a lasting effect.
Realisation:
The team building took place in the stylish Art Nouveau hotel Pax Montana in Switzerland – a fantastic backdrop for our programme „Chain reaction XXL“. IA total of 24 employees took part. In small groups, the teams built individual modules, which were later put together to create an impressive chain reaction.
Despite a last-minute organisational adjustment – four teams were formed instead of six – the Chain reaction XXL their high degree of flexibility: all teams worked on their modules in parallel, exchanged ideas intensively and developed creative solutions together. The result was an impressive dynamic with a strong team effect

The participants were committed, open and full of energy. The intensive cooperation was particularly noticeable: all teams worked simultaneously, actively exchanged ideas and helped each other with challenges. Communication played a key role here – clear agreements, listening and coordination made it possible to seamlessly link the individual modules. This not only created an impressive chain reaction, but also a strong awareness of how important team spirit and mutual support are in everyday working life. The learning effect: those who co-operate, share knowledge and coordinate processes achieve significantly more as a team.
Fazit & Recommendation:
An all-round successful team building event with a strong emotional impact. As a further format we recommend „Adventure Everest“, to sustainably transfer the learning effects experienced in the XXL chain reaction to the team’s change processes.
