The workshop will focus intensively on the topics of values, communication and team leadership in order to strengthen the lasting impact on the organisation. Our experienced trainers will convey the theoretical foundations to you in a clear and engaging manner, before you experience and apply what you have learnt in practice during the active module.
The BITOU activity modules are designed to bring the theoretical content to life in a fun and engaging way. Through team tasks, the knowledge acquired previously is applied in practice and consolidated. For example, in the ‘Before Mars’ activity module, participants experience first-hand how targeted decisions make all the difference: they must gather resources and use them wisely, whilst some actions have only a limited impact on the final outcome. In this way, they learn what really makes a difference and how they can exert targeted influence – a valuable insight for topics such as values, communication and team leadership.
In the concluding reflection session, the experience from the activity module is discussed and the results summarised. Targeted reflection with the team trainer will help you to better understand the dynamics within the team. Together, we will work on how the newly gained insights can be integrated into everyday working life in a sustainable way.

Whether and how one can exert influence within an organisation depends on many factors. Communication is a key element among them.
Are you familiar with the popular dish ‘spaghetti Bolognese’? Have you perhaps even cooked it yourself? If so, you may have noticed whilst looking up recipes that there are different ways of preparing it and different ingredients used. It’s much the same with communication.
Every team member can communicate, but what should communication within the team and the company look like? Is communication characterised by openness and honesty, and is it practised frequently? (What ingredients are used?)
A lack of communication quickly leads to an imbalance within the team, and your team loses sight of the common goal.
Following the activity module, communication habits are examined, after which new ways of improving communication are discussed.
To influence the entire organisation, the team must convey its ideas and achievements clearly and comprehensibly. This means communicating with other departments and ensuring that they understand the team’s objectives, methods and results and can apply them to their own work.
Corporate values play a very important role in shaping behaviour. Values influence our behaviour and our decisions.
How does your team manage cultural differences between departments? Every team has its own culture, and when one team tries to transfer its positive practices to others, it can meet with resistance. The challenge lies in developing a corporate culture that is open to the exchange and adoption of best practices. Corporate values are therefore part of the impact – how do you effectively achieve a sustainable and positive impact?
Suitable models for illustrating and overcoming such obstacles include, for example, Kotter’s 8-step process from change management, or the iceberg model. BITOU’s interactive modules are ideal for training staff through role-plays and simulations. This enables them to experience and practise the challenges and solutions in a safe environment.
