To begin with, the participants are engaged. The facilitator introduces the topic and highlights just how varied people’s experiences, expectations and reservations regarding AI can be. Depending on the structure of the session, initial views can be gathered via a Menti presentation: Who is already using AI? Where are people feeling uncertain? What questions are on people’s minds?

This creates an open-ended introduction, free from pressure and without requiring any prior knowledge. The team realises that it is not about being perfectly prepared, but about exploring the topic together. Initial reservations are addressed, different perspectives come to light, and the group establishes a shared starting point for the event.

The teams then access the Loquiz game interface via their tablets. There, they select various subject areas using icons. Completed categories are confirmed within the game, allowing the teams to stay on track and decide for themselves which tasks to tackle next.

The topics range from AI Basics, Effective Prompting, Data Detectives, People & Machine, Ethics & Responsibility and Security & Trust, right through to AI in a business context, Models, Tools & Technology, and Future & Transformation. This provides a broad yet accessible overview: What is AI? How do I formulate good prompts? When do I need to verify results? Where do data protection and trust issues arise? And which specific use cases are relevant to my own day-to-day work?

KI Connect doesn’t stop at questions on the tablet. The mix of quizzes, photos, videos, free-form text and activity stations ensures that the teams talk to one another, experiment and develop solutions together. Materials on the resources table are used purposefully and encourage collaboration across team boundaries.

For example, in the AI whisper circle, a team can experience how information changes. Prompt-matching demonstrates why details are crucial for AI results. UNO cards can be used to identify data errors or outliers.

This is precisely where the ‘Connect’ concept comes into play: participants exchange ideas, ask questions, discover knowledge within their own team and realise that AI is not just a tool for individuals, but can become a shared topic.

To conclude, the results, photos, videos and insights are brought together. The facilitator highlights key takeaways: What was surprising? Where did AI help? Where was scrutiny, accountability or human judgement required? And which applications would the participants like to test more consciously in their day-to-day work?

This reflection ensures that the event does not simply end as an entertaining AI obstacle course. A concrete transfer of knowledge takes place: teams identify potential areas of application, ranging from meeting notes and customer feedback to their own use cases within the organisation. At the same time, it becomes clear where security, source verification, data protection and clear responsibilities remain crucial.
